Schlieren has a lot to offer

Schlieren directly neighbours the business hub of Zurich. The rapid development of the city has seen historic quarters upgraded and newer districts revived. Nicely tucked away, Schlieren offers not just a historic town centre, its city park and the Schlieren local museum, but also lots of local recreational areas to pass the time in.

Schlieremer Berg

After a short walk, you will reach Schlieremer Berg – Schlieren's local mountain. Treat yourself to a bit of calm. From Schlieremer Berg, you have a wonderful view over the Limmattal valley.

Uetliberg

Uetliberg is Zurich's local mountain and a popular local recreational area. The summit of Uetliberg, the Uto Kulm, which lies 871 metres above sea level, is the first hiking destination that can be easily reached from Hotel Tivoli or from the city of Zurich, from several places. Whether hiking, biking or paragliding, everyone is guaranteed to get their money's worth.

Limmat

In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach another recreational area. The river that runs by the city tempts you to take a stroll, and on hot summer days, a rubber dinghy is one of the most popular means of transport on the river. There are beautiful places to swim along the Limmat.

City of Zurich

Discover the city on the water. Those who love a stroll about town will absolutely get their money's worth. Saunter along world-famous Bahnhofsstrasse, on to the Zurich Opera House, to the Niederdorf old town, and then to Grossmünster and Fraumünster.

Beautiful Lake Zurich offers lots of romantic walks and opportunities to relax.
